James Robinson was overrated, Wimp Sanderson screwed himself and Alabama. David Hobbs sucked. Gottfried was an old pervert. Grant was in over his head and quit like a bitch. Avery isn’t qualified to coach a Jr high team

Moral of story: If you need to find a coach, find one from the midwest.

You are an extreme sunshine pumper, I just didn’t realize last year how much of a hypersensitive prick you are. To each their own though

Mo had a tough first year with the Ala State Hornets but I don't think he had much to work with.

Zero chance that he is a worse coach than announcer

SEC Tournament Quarterfinal Preview: No. 6/5 Alabama Will Take on Mississippi State in SEC Tournament Opener Friday
The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will tip off Friday at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN
The No. 6/5 Alabama men's basketball team is the No. 1 overall seed in the 2021 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament and will take on No. 9 seed Mississippi State, which defeated Kentucky on Thursday (74-73). The contest will tip off on Friday at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN. The winner of Friday's game will advance to the semifinals on Saturday at noon CT.
Alabama earned the program's first No. 1 overall seed in the SEC Tournament since 2002 by finishing the regular season at 21-6 overall and 16-2 in SEC play. It was the Crimson Tide's first regular season championship in 19 years (2001-02). The 21 wins were the most since 2012-13 while the 16 wins in conference play matched the 1986-87 team for most league victories in a season in program history.
Alabama has won six SEC Tournament championships in program history, with the last one coming in 1991. Other tournament titles were won in 1934, 1982, 1987, 1989, 1990 and 1991. The Tide owns a record of 67-53 (.558) in all-time SEC Tournament games, ranking second in tournament winning percentage and third in total tournament wins.
Friday's game will be available on ESPN with Karl Ravech (play-by-play), Jimmy Dykes (analyst) and Marty Smith (sideline) on the call.

Unlike you I don't feel the need to be liked by everyone including rival fans so I can make "controversial" statements like I don't like Eric Musselman.
Maybe one day i'll be as good on these here message boards as the universally respected and almighty CrimsonFever.

You should stick to linking articles and posting quotes from press conferences, it's all you're good at when it comes to posting about college basketball.
Thanks for the feedback, but please get over yourself. I'm not in here acting like i'm gods gift to college basketball opinions. Since I started the thread, I feel a small duty in posting as much about the team and current season as I can to encourage discussion and participation. This is a fun place to shoot the shite and talk basketball with people that enjoy doing just that, you are trying to turn it into your own personal litter box where you treat people like assholes for thinking differently. frick all the way out of here with that shite. Take your arse to TideFans or whatever the hell it's called if that's what you're looking for.

Hopefully Marty Smith isn’t allowed to talk at all and Dykes focuses on the game and not Arkansas.

So back to basketball and not dick measuring, this Texas TT game is really good so far.

My biggest fear is that he’ll trip and impale one of our players with his hair

The token Southern accent guy they brought in to talk NASCAR needs to stick to NASCAR.

I hope North Carolina stays on the 8/9 line. Do not want them to get to a 7

Carolina is peaking at the perfect time. They are dangerous

I like Dane. He made a great point on the radio about Nates teams and it makes sense.
His point was and I agree.. Teams playing us the First time are gonna be shocked and hats why we will be successful in NCAAt. We will do much better in NCAAt than we will in SECt
So IMO Nates tenure will go like this...
1st time we play teams we are gonna blast them out of shock for how we play. Only way we lose to a team the 1st time we play is if we simply don’t make shots
2nd time we play teams they will adjust and that’s where we win by being Blue Collar, defensively tough and stuff.
It makes sense

except that his 4th year in the MAC was his best season, when other coaches would've probably played him and his system 9 or 10 times.
Oats adjusts too when he plays teams, LSU gave us threes the first time we took them and broke the record, the second game they stopped threes, we got a ton of twos and beat them by about 20.
Oats can adjust as good if not better than these other coaches in the SEC.
Now it IS hard to beat a team 3 times in one season, so I agree with that point, but I still think we beat Miss St.
