Any thoughts on the starting lineup?
I guess I’ll go chalk: Quinnerly, Shack, Petty, Herb, Bruner
Contributors: Primo, Keon, Reese, Rojas, Ambrose-Hylton.
We’re not an especially small team. We definitely have some size on the bench if I’m right on the starting lineup.

I’d go the same as you. With the news about Tchikou going down and Gary still not being at full health, I don’t think there is a lot of question marks as to who will play. The only question in the starting 5 is whether or not Primo bumps Shackelford to the 6th man role.

Oats has been hyping up Ellis so much and that’s why I think he starts. The fact that Primo and Shack may not be starting is INSANE. They would be locked in starters in past years

Quinerly, Shackelford, Petty, Herb, Bruner is my guess.
What new guy are ya'll most excited to see play for us? Pretty hard to choose between Quinerly and Bruner for me, I;ll go Bruner.

I’ll say JQ because for us to be as good as we are all hoping, he’s got to play at a fairly high level and run the offense effectively.

Bruner, but I think Primo will be electric.
Also stoked to see Shack in year two. He really progressed dowm the stretch with his handles and ability to drive to the basket.

Yeah if his freshman performance at Nova was indicative of a recruiting misevaluation rather than simply a player being in a place he wasn't comfortable and didn't want to be then our offense is probably going to look kinda shitty. Apparently he has been dominating our practices ever since he arrived on campus though, so hopefully he really was just a freshman struggling with a difficult situation that he had no role in creating for himself.

Just looking a new mock draft in The Athletic (from Sam Vecenie, who could know what he’s talking about...or not - I have no idea) and there’s no Josh Primo to be found.
Not especially important, but I was looking for him since he’s been on some other ones.
There are a bunch of SEC guys, and a fair amount of freshmen. Petty at 49 is our only guy. Jared Butler is at 29.
Anyway, not especially important. If we end up with a first rounder, that could only really be a good thing.

Primo is backup PG. But really all of our guys can handle the ball(except Reese)
