Darius Thompson said that Tennessee leads. He still wants to take other visits though.

It's going to be sad and funny if we only have a 2 man class, leaving us 2 under the scholarship limit yet again, with Releford, Moussa, and Carl (plus a few other guys if Grant gets fired) leaving after next season.

I'm not really worried about being 2 under this year. We will be fine depth-wise next year without them and the 2014 in-state class has plenty of depth for us to fill those extra vacancies. However if we sign Algie Key we will have 4 starter-quality guards to replace in the 2015 class.

I know you guys dont agree but I think we need bodies. Not just anyone but we cant keep going through every recruiting cycle with scholarships left over.

We'll have five true bigs, Pollard, and five guards. That sounds like a pretty good roster to me especially considering most schools don't use all 13 scholarship. If we can get a quality player in the Spring that would be great. 2014 needs to be a nice haul especially considering we have enough instate talent to make a decent class.

That's kind of my point. Regardless of what happens at this point, it looks like we will be put in a position where we have to start a bunch of freshmen soon. And if Grant is fired after next year it's going to be a complete fricking disaster similar to what State is going through.

Well with the emergence of Retin I guess we really dont need to use the scholarship. What we really need is for the guys that we have is to develop. IMO Lacey and Randolph more than anyone. If not Lacey needs to be coming off the bench. Quick question what would you guys like our starting 5 to be next year?

If anyone has 247, there's an update on William Lee. And if anyone has espn insider, there's an update with josh Langford.
Posted on 3/13/13 at 8:50 pm to Bryant91092
Langford's article mainly just talked about his season and how he's up for Mr. Basketball as a freshman. It did mention he was at the UGA game.
quote:
“It was a great game,” Langford said. “Coach [Anthony] Grant, he always makes me feel welcome down there, and they always make it a great environment down there.”
“I kind of called the shot when he shot it,” Langford said. “When he let it go, I kind of saw it. I was like, ‘this is going in.’ It was a big shot for Trevor.
“After the game, he was saying that he and one of the walk-ons, they were practicing that shot before practice the other day. He said he wasn’t even making it then, but he ended up making it in the game. He was surprised.”

Rivals updated their rankings if someone wants to post our targets and their new rankings.

Everything the same besides Haas and Colemon being bumped to 4 stars.

Pretty much this. But Haas not only jumped to 4-star but jumped up to take over the #1 spot... of 7 foot-plus players and is now at the 58th spot. One in front of Trayvon Reed. Kind of thought if anyone made that kind of jump it would be Coleman. Size must really be scaring recruiting sites off (5'10" is very generous).
Just noticed ESPN updated William Lee's profile. He's now a 4-star and sits just outside of the ESPN 60. My guess would be in the low 70s. Yet to update Coleman's and any other player in Alabama (Haas is still a 2-star)

Jesus that is huge. Didnt know that. I really dont understand the rankings but Haas must be pretty good to jump Reed. Reed is pretty damn good. Or maybe this ranking is based strictly on potential.

The thing with Reed is they solely ranked him on potential. He's not living up to that potential other than just being tall.

Scout says Thompson will visit UT and some other school before deciding. Anyone know who that other school is?
