Some some-what bad news for us if JJ does indeed commit to us in the coming days. Greg said JJ plans to simply commit and not sign LOI until spring period. Says he wants to see the teams play before he signs. And from that I'd gather that it'll be a soft verbal. I'm hoping our wing depth doesn't scare him away.

Seems dumb to me. If you're going to commit, sign in the early period. If not, hold off on committing. I bet he signs early though. Just a hunch.

That's kind of a weird way to go about it.
I don't think our depth will scare him that much. The way Grant likes to arrange the lineup usually leaves us with 2 or 3 wing type players on the court at any given time.

Here's an article that basically just says Riley Norris is smart: LINK If we landed him and Isaac Haas, that'd be two white kids in one class. That's unheard of

OK i have to get back into basketball recruiting. Just the lack of instate prospects or should I say highly touted prospects kinds of make things slow to me.
