Expected, but still disappointing.

Damn you Andrew Wiggins! He bumped Hale out of ESPN's top 100.

I hope Riley Norris and Isaac Haas are visiting this weekend along with all the other unofficials.

Taking a moment to vent...I almost puked watching ESPN all-access on UK and hearing Cal talk about how he never saw Willie Cauley play a high school basketball game. He only saw him play in three football games. Oh well, time to move on.

@BamaHoopsBlog
Riley Norris will not take any unofficial visits this weekend because he is scheduled to take the ACT.
I wonder who this BamaHoopsBlog guy is. He came out of nowhere to start dishing out info.

He's got to be someone that works close to the program or knows someone that works close to the program. My guess is the latter. He knows a lot more than most of the Bama recruiting site guys.

Hell me, you, and CC know more than those guys when it comes to basketball. My first thought was that it was a manager that might be tweeting out the info.

Yea a manager would make a lot of sense. And yea I wish one of the recruiting sites would hire someone to strictly follow Alabama Basketball. That site would certainly get my subscription.

Me too. He is the worst. Gets kids just because he can. Didnt even have a plan for the kid but now the kid looks like he will be a first rounder SMH.

I saw that he posted Craig Victor is visiting today.

As anyone following Troy Williams on twitter probably already knows, he chose Indiana today...

Yeah I saw that. Can't really fault him.
Apparently Craig Victor cancelled his visit this weekend. Probably couldn't find transportation.

Tadric Jackson: @G_A_T_A12: I really enjoyed visiting Alabama today.... #RollTide
Haven't seen this kid play basketball yet, but planning on watching him this coming year. Saw him play football as a freshman and the kid was a great QB. He was also a pretty damn good return man, and a beast punter as well. From throwing 50-60 yd bombs and hitting his receivers in-stride to punting 2 50 yarders out of bounds both inside the 5 yard line. His team purposely took delay-of-games to set him up for it. Couldn't believe he wasn't that highly recruited as a football player. If recruiting sites weren't that impressed with his football skills, I'd love to see what he could do in a sport that he is highly rated in.

Yea I don't blame him at all. IU is a prestigious team on the rise. All of the retweets were driving me crazy though.

Proximity means a lot to Rysheed Jordan. According to his travel team coach Kamal Yard, Jordan, one of just 21 top 100 prospects still available in the 2013 class, plans to play his college basketball close to home. “It’s interesting because he was flip flopping in terms of what he wanted to do,” Yard said about Jordan. “Does he stay away or does he stay close? For him he’s not going to be more than a couple hours away.”
From scout.

Eric Bossi said we are on the many schools who has reached out to PG Travis Jorgenson after he decommitted from Missouri.

Good thing Jordan lives so close to us.....
Jorgensen looks good in his Highlight Videos, I mean reallly good. The kid is so well-rounded it seems and is pretty athletic as well as shifty. Sets up his teammates beautifully. Have only seen his highlight videos, but they seem to match-up very well with his ESPN scouting report. They say he pushes transition very well, shoots spotup, pullup, and open jumpshots very well and is very hard to stay in fron of. The only real weakness they have for him is size, but if he is a legit 6 foot its not a huge weakness. We are getting used to 6 foot pgs running the show.

Went to the practice/BBQ/Q&A with Coach Grant last night. Got to the practice pretty late. By the time I got there, they were visibly tired, so I didn't really see anything to give me an idea of what kind of team we have this year. Saw Pollard hit a 3, but also saw him air ball one.
Came away very impressed with Coach Grant, as expected. The man is very sincere in what he's trying to do. Spoke a lot about trying to build a championship program, not just have a good year here and there. Also talked about building character people out of his players. Finished his session by giving praise to his wife and the wives of the other coaches, and everything that they do to take care of the family so they can stay focused on coaching.
