Greg said he texted Hale last night who says he's 100% committed to Bama. So if he flips his commitment, he's lied to a lot of people.

According to the insider, Hale's dad instructed him to to say anything until he formally decommits.

Well I'm glad he was trolling. You may not think he's a good player, but I think he'll be a very good 4 year player for us and possibly developing into a second team type SEC guy by his junior year.

I have no idea why he would choose Hale to troll about though rather than Hubbs or Nichols.
Hale has really never been on our radar at all.

I don't think he's not talented, he is just extremely soft imo, which is not what we need out of that spot in the class.
Nichols is more of a tweener between a stretch 4 and a true post.
I think we need a banger in this class with Maymon and possibly Stokes gone, and Hale is far from it.

I do agree that he's not as physical as he probably should be, but he's really improved his strength at his new school and been more physical/aggressive this summer from most reports I've read.

Well he has been one of the best players on the AAU circuit this year so ill take him. Seems like a good hard worker as well. Could stretch some teams out. Could really kill teams who like to sit in zones on us with his mid range shooting as well.

The site where the rumors originated have posts saying he committed to UT. I guess we'll have to sit back and wait.

This Hale thing is interesting.
If the kid who is posting on VolNation is the one who just spammed every single basketball recruiting writer with the tweet that Hale is now committed to Tennessee, then I don't think he's trolling. But Hale, is shooting it down.
