Nothing new. Basically said they could be a package deal. I think barber is really high on us and that has helped with Williams. Also stated Williams recruitment was wide open. Williams does have an aunt that lives around t-town and he plans on visiting at some point in August when he visits her.

His aunt coaches at Auburn which is why he'll also be unofficially visiting us. Hopefully it'll be a long trip and maybe he can bring Barber back.

I haven't gotten to watch the game yet, but from what I gathered off twitter, both Grant and Dan Hipsher were at the game tonight for cat and Troy Williams.

I just really dont like there style. Something about there body languages says Tony Mitchell to me. They stand around on offense and only tend to move when they have the ball and I mean both Barber and Williams. Id rather have Pookie. Also Griffith is a beast Jesus.

Dont get me wrong I like barbers game. Just the fact that the analyst said that they were kind of selfish with the ball kind of worries me.

I'm about to watch the replay on ESPN3

I'm the complete opposite. I love their style. I think they are the perfect fit for us much like Pollard was.

Figured I would post it here since I mentioned it in the basketball thread on the Rant, but Ben Eblen isn't going to be on the roster this year. He's going to graduate this summer and go somewhere else for his last year.

I texted Greg and asked another guy who is close to the team and both said they hadn't heard that. I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just no one else is saying they've heard it.

Ask CC. It's pretty common knowledge. Surprised Greg hasn't heard it.

Bryant, you are sharp with basketball knowledge, do you think State made a bad move by hiring Rick Ray?

I would have gone with a guy who had actual head coaching experience at the D1 level.
We play Oregon State for the 2k Sports Classic. Purdue and Villanova are the other two teams.

CC said he's heard it from a couple people. I guess that opens an even bigger role for Retin after his great summer this year.

Ben had a role on the team and he played it well. If he is done then best of luck to him.
