This team needs to pick it up before SEC play begins. We also seem to struggle with Southern Miss, so that loss isn't devastating. Losing one run games is how you get locked into a shitty regional. Winning two of three this weekend could go a long way come May.
Regardless, I think this series is huge for the direction of this team. Leave 4-4 and high preseason expectations will be put on hold.

ULL is ranked #14. Winning the series would be amazing, and help out our RPI in a big way. Obviously, I'm hoping for the sweep, but like I said, that's a lofty goal.

Game is tied 0-0 in the top of the 3rd. We loaded the bases in the 1st inning with 1 out but could not score.

No we're just struggling right now. I mean UL has a great Friday night starter, but we scored one run against Southern Miss' 4th starter. Only scored one in 13 innings against SFA. Just in a funk to start the year offensively. It's more a lack of clutch hitting, we out hit UL 7-2 tonight. They'll get it going though, this same team was on fire the second half of last year offensively.

ULL is up 3-0 right now in the top of the 5th. Kamplain walked 3 in the first inning.

Both games so far ULL has filled up there stadium. This is a really good atmosphere for baseball. It's a shame we can't play better.

Walks, errors, and terrible offense.. I expected our defense to be a strength and our offense to be average. At this rate we will not win 15 sec games. I was thinking 20.

We are up 3-0 in the top of the 2nd. Moore and Smith had rbi singles and Overstreet had an rbi double down the rf line. All 3 runs were unearned , but who cares we scored
