Pitching matchups for this weekend in Oxford:
Friday - 6:30
Charley Sullivan (3-2, 2.52 ERA)
Bobby Wahl (6-0, 1.57 ERA)
Saturday - 4:00 (CSS)
Justin Kamplain (0-0, 4.34 ERA)
Mike Mayers (2-4, 3.20 ERA)
Sunday - 1:30
Spencer Turnbull (4-1, 2.22 ERA)
Sam Smith (2-0, 4.40 ERA)
Kamplain is making his first start of the season. Turnbull has thrown 29.2 straight scoreless innings. If our fanbase cared about baseball, that would be a huge story

We had bases loaded in the 6th, with 1 out (one player reached on an error and two walks) We end the inning with back to back foul outs. We're trailing 4-0. I just hope we can score some on Wahl

Turnbull's scoreless streak came to an end in the first inning today... We trail 2-0 early

I hoped there would be some life this weekend, but we really are not ready to take another step. Just too young.

You're absolutely right. If pitching continues to improve and these young guys develop, next season will be fun to watch

I just hope we can finish at .500 in the SEC and make it to 35 wins overall. I would call a regional appearance a great season.

We have UAB tomorrow night. Hopefully this young team puts this past weekend behind them and gets after UAB after a bad game against them last time. We NEED these mid-week games bad if we're going to make a regional.

We really needed to steal one last weekend. I don't have much hope for slumping bats to wake up against the best LSU team in years.

this is premature but Perfect Game says we're on pace to make the tournament! 
the bad news it puts us as the #3 team in overall #1 North Carolina regional. We would be slated to play coastal Carolina first. Long way away and we need to finish fair, maybe we we'll land somewhere else though.Posted on 4/18/13 at 1:20 pm to crimsonblazer
Most projections out there have us in. Should come with a big "for now" asterick though with our upcoming schedule I even saw one last week before Ole Miss that had us as a #2 seed.
