What a day! Started in Troy and watching what has a chance to be this season's Omaha darlings ... who doesn't love Jabe Ruth? Incredible scene with what that program did preparing a 2K capacity venue and finding room for a school record 7K+. Then hustled to Tuscaloosa where Tyler Fay had an incredible moment in front of another school record 7K+ fans as Alabama moved within a game of Omaha. Who goes out with the crowd chanting his name?
In my career I've covered thousands of games and had many incredible days. This one stands out for the uniqueness of 2 record crowd Supers in a day and how those fanbases brought the passion. Will have features from each scene Sunday morning

Can’t speak for how it looked in TV — but pretty eclectic in attendance.
Crowd was behind just about every pitch for Fay.

Pretty damn good. He’s somehow gotten his FB up to 96-97 and able to locate it well, with a ton of movement.
112 Ks and 21 BB in 95.2 innings.
