He's not terrible, that hyperbole.
The other guy available to start today gave up 1 hit to Texas earlier in the season though, and just has better stuff.
Because we refuse to deviate from our rotation order, even in an elimination game, we face a 3-0 deficit. We still bat Torres in the 4 hole, when the best power hitter in our lineup is 60 points higher than him in batting average.
There's just some stubbornness with the lineup card that doesn't make sense

Twice in two games that Holt fails to execute a bunt and then hits into a double play. Unreal. You’re a .240 hitter with no pop and you can’t bunt?
