There is just so little room for error when your bullpen is this bad and your starters aren't going 7 innings consistently (which is everyone).

As bad as walking guys up 3 runs. So frustrating.
If you were going to bring in our closer, why not give him a clean inning? Hope he can pull it off, but don’t like the way this was handled.

Pretty efficient day for our pen, allowing 3 runs over 7 2/3 innings against #1 UGA (Baseball America).

Heiberger has at least flashed signs of being able to hold down great offenses. He'd definitely be my #3 guy at this point.
Past that I got nothing. Banks probably but confidence level of about zero.

This is one of my gripes about pitch calling by Bama and many coaches in general who try and call strikeout sequences instead of just getting outs. 0-2 sure throw a chase pitch that if you slightly miss towards plate...its a strike on the corner. 1-2...challenge them with your best pitches in the zone
