If we take care of business with 1st and third and 1 out, or bases loaded with 2 outs (same inning), or do something with 1st and 2nd and no outs in the last inning, we are way ahead.

Just total embarrassment. 9 hole catcher that was 0-3 with bases juiced on the year against our closer.
While he’s been a good closer most of the year, eventually not being able to even touch 94mph as catches up to you in the late innings. Especially since this was the 2nd time facing this team. We just don’t have the talent this year.

Crazy how easy they just ground out and how our pitching will struggle to get one of those when we need it

I honestly would say this is exactly a microcosm of this team. The bullpen has stunk all year.
I don’t know how this is fixed under current Bama structure.

I’m fine with that if he’s grooving first pitch fastball heart of plate. I’m aggressive but they’re just missing mistakes by pitchers.
