Vaughn was willing to win this game at all cost. If Riley Quick went to Vaughn and said he wanted to pitch today, he would’ve been on the mound.

Not at all. He’s probably smart enough to know that their win probability was a lot higher and therefore he was not needed.

I’m doubtful that we’ll host. The “metrics” are mostly in our favor but we failed to take advantage of the numerous opportunities to remove any doubt. That, plus two other bubble sites have AD’s on the committee.

I don’t think anyone would be happy about seeing Bama as there 2 seed just hope we can get long games from the starters and limit bullpen innings

I’d honestly rather be a 2 seed than 16th nationally and have to go play #1 in a super regional again.
