Thats fine, but lets win as many as we can. The guys will be just fine for regionals.

This game was surrendered before it even started. Just a loser mentality IMO. Its no wonder people dont give a damn about showing up to the ballpark

Torres' K rate is 31.9%, #3 in the SEC. The 2 guys worse are Austin Fawley from Ole Miss (who also has an OPS of 1.008, so you kind of accept it) and Pierre Seals from Mizzou.

I don’t believe Torres could consistently hit a good high school pitcher. His eyes never follow the pitch into the zone. They are always looking at some spot between the plate and the mound.
Is there nobody else bama could play at 3b?

Well, that outing sucked. Assuming Heiberger is just going to try and get out of this and maybe 1 more. Can't imagine we'd overuse him since he's basically our #3 pen guy now.

Wonder which starter will get the middle innings - Alcock?

Not ideal.

Big oof out of the portal as far as I can tell.

All he was expected to do was go 2-3 innings and couldn’t do it.

Heiberger first pitch, 186 MPH exit velo, fortunately in Bonomolo’s range.

After giving up that 1st pitch missile, I wouldn't be surprised in Heiberger struggles to throw strikes next inning.

It’s just being strategic. Throwing Quick on four days rest just wasn’t the play here.

I agree. Guy is in first season following TJ surgery. He's been working on 6 days rest most of the season, maybe 5 days a couple times. Throwing him on 4 days rest is not the move.

Maybe he could've gone and been fine, but honestly if there was ANY chance of it disrupting him, you don't do it. We need him full strength to have any chance of advancing out of next weekend.

Agree - if he can't go then shut the thing down, we have no shot.

Its a good thing Bama got 6 wins out of bottom feeders. This team has 2 or 3 bats at most. Vaughn made lemonade out of lemons this season.

This guy for Tennessee is throwing absolute gas and he’s not even their #1

I cannot think of an Alabama pitcher over the last twenty years with better stuff than this guy.

Prelipp doesn’t count.

Vitello brings in dudes - both from high school and the portal - as well or better than anybody in the country. They are just loaded up and down the roster every single year.
