At least he swung at it. He just struck out on 3 pitches and he took all of them…with two men on base.

Our DH looks like a little leaguer with that ridiculous pre at bat routine

Yeah, not swinging the bat will magically cure that!
That was the key AB of the game!

For a team down 4-2 in the 9th, that had to be one of the most uninspiring innings you could ever imagine.

Did I miss something or was that short pop up clearly a foot inside the 3rd base line and the ump called it foul?

Doesn’t matter. Ball bounced in foul territory where it was touched by player foul ball. Had that ball landed in fair territory past third base then bounced foul it would be a fair ball.

I agree. Last night they were jumping on first pitch and aggressive, then we started watching and the bats cooled. It carried over today. I know we had ten hits but that was spread out and none timely except for Bryce’s single. LeBron might need to sit a bit and get out of his head. He should have hit into 4DP the last two games but he is so very fast he beats the throw out.

Ousterhouse leading off swung at ball 4 and 5 over his head.

Just win baby!

Even with yesterday’s loss, we’re still #3 in RPI. If we lose this series and fall a few spots, it’s not a huge deal unless we follow it up with a bad home series against Arkansas (esp if we lose to Samford). Need to win this series or the next one to keep things rolling!

Upchurch tweaked his ankle on the shitty turf

Why not wear turf shoes instead of spikes on turf?

Pitching change

3-1 Bama

Upchurch apparently got taped up and came back in the game.
