Looking ahead how does this translate into wins and losses during SEC play. We dropped in ERA and went up in BA.
We will see better pitching.

Well too early to tell but I would say we have room for improvement

LSU dropped their series to Sacramento State
Florida had to come from behind to avoid getting swept by Highpoint
Vandy lost to 1-13 NDSU
Arkansas dropped one to Stetson
Tennessee dropped one to Wright State
SEC is wide open this year, folks.

Quick look at last year.
We won 6 conference games when the other team scored five or more runs.
I’m thinking that number is going to be lower this year, and the amount of games where we give up five or more is going to be greater.
Hell, we might allow 5+ runs every game.
Not a good combo.
Looking like an 8-10 win season at this point.

I don’t think the staff would worry about flipping this kid if it was 100% certain of him skipping college.

I’m down in Tampa for our basketball game. If someone else wants to start the series thread tomorrow it will probably be a lot better than my updates while watching bball

Maybe we should just have game discussion in this thread like ole time sake — mix it up a bit.
