You just cannot give away 2 points in that situation. And if you piss off the refs it will not help with the calls. Our coach was either screaming at the refs the entire KY game or at our players.
Last year he got a T in a situation like the one last night and apologized after the game. Admitted that it hurt the teams chances. A coach can let the refs know he didn’t like a call without getting Td up.

Not only did we not have Sherrell in this game…the refs put Noah and Keitenn in foul trouble almost immediately.

That's my read of the postgame comments too having watched it. He had that look of disgust on him like he knows he was out chopping it up with his boys who got back on campus ahead of first day of the semester on Wednesday.

Our most important players are Philon and Sherrell. Sherrell isn't as good as Holloway, but he's more important.
Hard to beat a decent team on the road without your two most important players.
I was not impressed w/ Vandy. They are solid, but not great. They started 12-1 last year with a bad schedule, scoring over 100 points 3 times. They went 8-10 in SEC play and lost in the first round of the SEC And NCAA tournament.
They are better this year, but not that much better. They will not win the SEC regular season title unless some other teams have plane crashes.

I say the difference in the game was when TBB didn't get a defensive rebound on a missed FT and then followed that up with throwing it in after a made basket to Vandy for another 2 FTs.
TBB should never be on the lower block for a defensive rebound on FTs for the rest of the season. Amari, Trelly, heck even Philon before TBB.

Not sure where to post this but our women are smoking #6 Kentucky late in the 4th quarter. We played no one in the non conference but were competitive with USC for a half and now this might mean we are pretty good again.

Ended up winning 64-51. They said it was our highest ranked win since 1997. Jeez
