It doesn't allow you to change the team names either?

Bama won 8-7 with having bases loaded and a double play and then a fielders choice preserving the win in the bottom of the 9th. BP was very suspect.

They are. They’ve had some unusual losses this year but they came into the year ranked highly. Very encouraging win.

RollTide.com recap of game 2

quote:

Alabama baseball (9-2) staved off a late charge from No. 19 Oregon State (5-4), as Peyton Steele's highlight-reel assist from right field cut down the potential tying run in the 9th, helping guide the Crimson Tide to a thrilling 8-7 win at Riders Field on Saturday.

Hagan Banks entered the game in the 9th with a three-run lead, though Oregon State wouldn't go away quietly. The Beavers saw the first three men in the order reach base, while an RBI single and an error allowed for two runs to score, cutting the Alabama lead to just a run. With no outs and the bases loaded, Steele's incredible throw from right field to home resulted in a double play, allowing for Banks to induce the game-ending fielder's choice two batters later and earn his second save of the season in the process.

The Tide did most of its offensive work early on, jumping out to a 6-0 lead over the first four innings. Brady Neal was among the bats to jump-start the Alabama lineup, as the senior clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd, finishing the night 1-for-4. Jason Torres also homered in the 3rd, sending a solo homer to left. In addition to the homer, Torres doubled and walked as part of a 2-for-4 effort. Eric Hines lifted his first collegiate home run in the 4th, a solo blast that landed beyond the fence in left-center field. Justin Lebron led all Tide players with three hits in five at-bats, including an RBI double in the 8th. Luke Vaughn and Brennan Holt both finished 2-for-4 with Vaughn driving in a run, while Steele and John Lemm were both responsible for a run batted in.

Matthew Heiberger (1-0) picked up his first win after slowing down Oregon State's momentum in the middle innings. Heiberger managed 2.2 innings of one-run ball, allowing just two hits and a walk while tallying a strikeout. In his second appearance of the season, Kaden Humphrey retired both hitters he faced in the 8th in relief of Heiberger. Zane Adams didn't factor into the decision after totaling 4.2 innings in his third start of the season. Adams allowed seven hits, a walk and four earned runs to go with four strikeouts, as the left-hander operated on cruise control until surrendering four runs in the 5th.

Banks got the save but did not deserve it.

Little shaky allowing the 0-2 hit and 0-2 HBP but if bronny doesn’t boot the DP ball we only allow one run there.

He did a good job working ahead in the counts but gotta convert some of those 0-2 counts to outs.

Scoreboard updated aside from the teams. We are playing Houston at 3p. Just know that “Iowa” is Houston.
