Yes…. But, freshmen hit a wall. Now is the time to manage his minutes and give others an opportunity to sort themselves out for late season minutes.

Finally settling in.

Let's see if we twist the knife. We have had a tendency to sit on our heels when we get a 8-10 point lead.

Sometimes Nelson makes it so easy.

Think I’ve said this before, but depth perception is a real thing when shooting in a gym like this. It feels small and sometimes can make you shoot just a bit off.

In HS, I had worked really hard on FTs one summer and was shooting about 90% halfway through that next season. We played at Hoover and their gym had a much different setup behind the basket than all the other places we played, and I ended up missing 2 technical FTs early on. Just a totally different feel and despite trying to replicate the same mechanics as always, sometimes you end up “trying to adjust” without even knowing it.

Not trying to make excuses for the guys, but it could make a difference on FTs and 3s.

We are scoring at will. But they aren't missing right now

It’s the threes by certain players. We’re killing them getting to the basket and Nelson launches a three. He may make one but it’s a extremely low percentage shot.

As long as I have been an Alabama basketball fan, we have a terrible tendency to get careered by the opposing teams main threat

North Dakota takes some of the ugliest shots, from 3 especially, but they all somehow manage to go in.

That last one was top of the key and the contest was late. We’re not running them off the line

They are a bad 3 point shooting team, we are a good 3 point defense team, and they just cannot miss.
