After the Playoff Games. Our Defense is fine.

OSU has a good looking defense but when I look at their defense, the growing pains they endured last season and our current defense I feel very good about our defense.
Also, I noticed that even though we've had better secondaries our secondary this season is pretty good. Did you see Oklahoma's secondary?! Most of those guys were small and couldn't get an upper tier SEC offer.

Multiple LSU beat writers tweeted that the LSU coaching staff had said that they felt Oklahoma was the 5th best team on their schedule thus far.
And regarding Bama, we didn't quite have it this year, but we were actually real close.

Yea I don't equate our defense being "fine" to our defense being a little better than Oklahoma's.

Another thing. Of the playoff teams who has a better LB than Dylan Moses? None of them. And, we played the entire season without a guy who when healthy is a first round talent and our defensive signal caller.

Could this be Saban’s best coaching job yet?
To take this “defense” and a gimpy QB and be an onside kick recovery away from beating LSU is impressive.

Since when did we all make Dylan Moses into a sure fire All-American? He was solid last year and I expect with growth he would have had a really good year, but let's not act like he was the sure fire best LB in CFB or something.
And for one, Isaiah Simmons of Clemson, the Butkus Award winner.

I mean we have about 8 Top 3 round draft picks on offense and 3-4 on defense (that played).
The loss to Auburn was a disaster, both in playing and coaching.

Simmons isn't on Moses' level. I knew someone would bring Simmons up because he won the Butkus but awards aren't the barometer. Those thick legged, big butt LSU RBs will be inside Simmons arse all game.

That's laughably insane

Yea, how'd that work out for us last year against Simmons and Co?

Where you been at? Moses is a top 1 or 2 LB talent in college football. His size, intelligence, body type and speed are damn near unparalleled.

Us ain't LSU. LSU will roll Clemson. And, we didn't lose on account of our offense to Clemson.

Ok, cool, he was not a Top 1/2 LB in college football in 2018. He was a very solid LB, but he was not an elite LB. He could have been this year, but that's a "could".
Getting him back would be awesome, but the excuses and sunshine pumping are nauseating.

No, we lost on account of our defense - including Moses.

Dylan Moses wasn't elite? That's a lie.

Last season? No, he was not one of the 3-4 best ILB in America.

We lost because of our secondary and an injury depleted DL.

Name the ILBs better than Moses last season.

Oh, alright
Golding is great and Moses was the best ILB in America last year. Sounds good. All is well.

Agreed. He’s never shown me anything, and he and Mack Wilson side by side last season was pretty disappointing.

And, many of you downplay the importance of Dylan being the signal caller and his experience.
