You mean to tell me that Phat Phuck hires Jeremy freaking Pruitt over Les Miles who has proven he can win big in the SEC? Why? Recruiting? Les was a pretty damn good recruiter. Record? Pruitt has none, Les has a long one. Connections? Les is supposedly buds with Phatass. No, Phatass gave that job to Pruitt for no other reason than to hurt Alabama. Why not? This search has been a fiasco from the get go, all the big names are off the board, and he needed someone in place like yesterday. So why not just screw over Bama? If Pruitt is the next up and comer like Muschamp and Kirby, he got lucky and killed two birds with one stone. If not, he’ll conduct a better search in a couple of years after Pruitt crashes and burns but Bama still loses their DC.

. For him to take not just another coaching job, but the head job at fricking Tennessee will be viewed as somewhat treasonous to a lot of Alabama fans.
Not by anyone reasonable. He's probably getting a $2.5 million raise. No true Bama fan would begrudge him that.

Happy for his opportunity, coaching through the playoffs worked with Smart, hopefully it will here also

That dumpster fire should've hired one of their own like Kevin Steele (who actually has HC experience) instead of begging a good Bama legacy like Pruitt to come rescue their shitty arse.
Hard not to believe now with whatever happens, Pruitt will never be the same.

So would have Kirby if he’d taken the Auburn job when it was offered him after Chizik was fired. He had sense enough to know that was not the right opportunity.

One of the downsides of being a successful program is having a revolving door at coordinator

I understand wanting to move up in the profession, but I don't see how you could ever stand to do it at 10rc. I feel disgusted just having to drive through there on the interstate.
