Anyone who has been in politics at that level for that long are not working in the best interest of the people. It's become a money making scheme with all the lobbyists in DC. You think Tuberville ran for Senate out of the goodness of his heart and wanting to help Alabamians? Hell no, he saw an opportunity to make money hand over fist and is probably gonna be up there for 20+ years. How members of Congress are allowed to engage in insider trading with impunity is beyond me.

Side note: Candidates who don't live in the state shouldn't be allowed to run to represent that state.

DEI issues aside, is your argument that we should leave our shiny new toys in a garage and gift Russia more power instead of…. Using them against Russia? Why do we have a military in the first place then?…

Is DEI why the vast majority of republicans and democratic military leadership endorsed Kamala and continuing to support Ukraine?..

Coming from a heavy military family I’m not aware of any of them that support dropping support for Ukraine. And that includes some who’s VFA just got stuck out in the gulf because of another silly religious tit for tat that’s far less important

Where did I imply this?

What active duty military members endorsed Kamala Harris publicly?

No one.

You know why?

We aren't allowed to do that.

Russia invaded Ukraine because the current administration is weak. Point blank period.

Teddy Roosevelt said it best: "Walk quietly and carry a big stick."

We tossed away our stick and focused on feelings.

They’re still trying to figure out what happened. The donors feel the same way after a Billion dollars was blowed and $20,000,000 still owed.

I’m aware current members aren’t allowed to publicly endorse. Doesn’t change the fact that hundreds of national security individuals including his own former generals like Mattis and Milley railed him in the last few months

I’m not sure what you’re complaining about here then;

quote:

We have broken military equipment here in our own country that takes months and months to repair or replace due to "funding issues" but the cash machine has no problem spitting out billions of dollars for Ukraine. Utter bullshite.

Obama was horrendous at foreign policy, but let’s not act like the little green men still weren’t prancing around Donetsk under Trump. But that was more to do with Europe being lackadaisical with military spending than Biden

If invading Ukraine and getting met with US resistance is weak, I’m not sure what packing your bags and tucking your tail behind your legs quite is either. Apparently the Republican Party stands for appeasement now

Russia is broke and what do we have to prevent chinese rise? China focuses on trade and building while America is always at war.

Democrats were the war party while Republicans were the opposite in last century for most part.

The ignorance here of why the Deep State is so hell-bent on “supporting Ukraine” almost boggles the mind. Let’s just say, you ain’t gonna hear the MSM talk about why.

I'm currently in the business of training our military personnel how to operate in a deployed environment.

Our generators, which are absolutely critical to accomplish the mission, have been broken for almost 6 months with no fix date in sight due to funding issues.

But let's send billions to Ukraine to invade Russia while their fighting age men are clubbing it up in Kiev.

Appeasement?

Try deterrence. Russia tucked their tails behind their legs when Trump held office the last time. They only decided to invade when Biden took office.

I've read your posts for years. You can't be this stupid.

I’m not sure why we’re citing century? In the past fourty years we’ve had Panama, the gulf war, Iraq 2x and Afghanistan. Largely under the Bush presidencies with some smaller interventions (Yemen, Syria) sprinkled throughout under Obama and Clinton.

The party of appeasement is a reference to Reagan pushing the party of freedom during the Cold War. The irony is the Democratic Party, that complained about interventionist policy, is gung ho on stopping Russian aggression but not the other way around
