Yeah, hopefully our second half adjustments on defense pay off

Little had no field awareness at all. You don't go for the ball when the other team has no timeouts and less than 5 seconds left. You tackle the guy in space

My bad it was Story not Little.

#34 should be one of our LBers tonight. He has the speed to be of help.

Key is a vet who would’ve had the awareness to tackle the guy in the field of play instead of trying for the ball.

I’ll also say again that in a game like this I’d like to have seen the offense manage the clock a little bit on the previous possession too. We were acting like 1:10 on the clock was :25.

Nah, this offense just has to take what it can get. They’re not in control like that. Could stop themselves at any moment.

At this point, I just hope the Bama offense can keep up what they’re doing. One bad drive or turnover and we will be in a perilous position.

How hard is it to spy #5? They are spreading us out and running 5. Spy his arse not with 32, maybe 13. Then don’t get friggin cute on offense.

This is what LSU has put on film for years. They are playing madden with Lamar Jackson. Running go routes and deep post to take away the DBs and letting him run down the field for as long as he wants. 4 even looked like a madden character not turning around while the QB runs past him.

Agreed. I’m more worried about scoring than I am time on the clock. At least in the second scenario we aren’t trailing

Our defense will be better second half. I really believe that.

Well...on the bright side they haven't lost any yards due to punts not being caught.

They’re stressing us in very different ways than TN. But yeah, until we change our defense, teams like this will always be a nightmare matchup for us.
