Wasn't there one year Saban said like 7 teams had a bye week before playing us in the same year?

2010, but it was 6 teams, not 7

Win 10 games. In playoff. Doesn’t matter who we play.

Take auburn and the points at Jordan Hare. I don’t care if it’s 2 or 22. I refuse to even watch Bama games played there due to the frickery that goes on. It’s a voodoo cult.

I feel like the voodoo may have been broken. We've ripped their hearts out the past 2 games there.

Assuming we take care of business with FSU and Wisconsin...although with the portal expect a much better FSU team that could catch us off guard on the road when they'll likely be unranked in the preseason.

Georgia on the road will obviously be tough.

We need to win at Missouri and South Carolina. Those are the games we can't be pulling an Oklahoma.

Then we need to win 2 out of 3 between Tennessee, LSU and
Auburn.

10-2 gets you in the cfp every time...9-3, well, not so much.

You just don't want to lay an egg game 1, then after Georgia on the road possibly needing to run the table the rest of the season.

Playing four teams coming off a bye again, that shite is getting real old

Id be curious to see the numbers on teams played coming off a bye over the last 10-15 years, it seems like it’s been really skewed against us.

Interesting how both Vandy got Bama after their bye week and Bama had just played Georgia...almost like that was perfect conditions for upset

Wisconsin game should be very tough, although Bama D is kinda perfect against that kind of offense.

Regardless of whether South Carolina takes a step back next season...that game will be extremely difficult coming off Tennessee. People should just be prepared for a letdown game

We have had the same bye week as LSU for years. I can't remember the last time we came into a game more rested than our opponent. It's a joke that Byrne allows it to continue happening. Sankey can eat shite and fall into a well as far as I'm concerned.

Mal Moore got the problem corrected last time when it was brought to his attention.

What shall we do about it this time, keep bending over?

Most games are the back end of 2024 scheduling. This schedule is a no brainer. Next year we will see how it goes…

Auburn will be a 9 win team next year when Bama shows up. I know what their record was but the only loss that was out of hand but should have been worse was Bama. They could have just as easily won 4/5 of those losses.

You saying Sankey needs some of that Luigi justice?

I looked around a little last night and it looks like nobody has ever actually run the data. If we started at 2010 and ran it through this season, how much do you want to bet we’ve had to play at least double the teams coming off a bye versus the rest of the SEC?

Someone who’s really good at data collecting quickly should look into that. I would bet the data is staggering.

He's not that awful.

I just hate the dude. He's a big reason why CFB has gotten so fricked up IMO and I think he has been horrible for the SEC. To his credit he's not a mass murderer like Brian though.

Yeah yet we have people demanding we play harder schedules where we can't rest during big stretches like the Georgia-SC run.

If we move Mizz away to first game of the year then scehdule Austin Peay before rocky top at home it gives us a week to heal before playing SC and rocky top.

Instead we're going to face a physical and angry FSU and could have possible injuries. Then we will face an angry and healthy Wisconsin. Then we get UGA away.

Those 4 weeks are more than what Indiana did all season this year

That is a tough schedule. Georgia and South Carolina on the road. South Carolina's QB might be the best in the country next year. And Auburn is always trouble at Jordan Hare. And I forgot about Tennessee. Not an easy road to win the probably required 10 games to make the playoff.
