To break away from some of the Grubb stuff, I was thinking yesterday; I would'nt mind at all to bring back Cochran to some capacity. The players loved him and injuries aside, our guys looked bigger and stronger when he was there.

On a sorta different note. I was wondering if any changes are made to the 4th quarter program. DeBoer seemed to like it

Seahawks beat writer doesn't seem to think Grubb will be let go:

We will know before the end of the day for sure. If he’s not fired in the next few hours, he ain’t getting fired. He may leave of his own volition but I doubt that.

He's not coming back. This one needs to be laid to rest. His drug issues is enough to be concerned about.

Eh I get that. Hate it though. My brother was a functioning addict for about 8 years. He is five years sober now and doing the best he has ever done. I guess I have a soft spot in that regard. I would love to have Feld though. Intense dude that players love. Someone that has a bit of fire that may be a good addition to having a more passive coach.

I am going to assume that the person charged with playing music during practice is safe for another year?

So do you think DeBoer will reach out to Grubb to gauge interest or will he stick with Sheridan? It certainly presents a staff issue or at least an uncomfortable situation if he does manage to bring Grub back if the wife is ok with it.

If Grubb wants to be here, he will. I doubt he's going to get much traction in the NFL circles after a quick heave-ho. The staff situation will be navigated however it needs to be navigated if it happens. He would be an upgrade over Sheridan as a playcaller. If we need 3 Co-OCs and some title fluff, so be it.

Now that Grubb is officially out at Seattle, I'm officially wishfull thinking him re-joining Alabama and bringing the O-line coach with him. Hopefully mrs Grubb will have come to appreciate job stability by now and OK the move back to Tuscaloosa.

I don’t think it’s so much about being right, it’s the point he’s bragging about being right in two different threads.

In other words it’s nothing to be bragging about. For the last three days it’s been pretty much discussed he was going to get fired probably.

I’d be good with that but if his wife and family are going to complain and be in his ear the entire time while in the south I’d rather keep who we have. Nothing makes life more unbearable than an unhappy family.

Who cares if he brags about it? Only someone mad, super sensitive and in their feelings would get offended because someone said "I was right".

Well unless they told him he was wrong and he proved them to be wrong.

Anyways it's just funny to me to see how mad it makes some of these people. He legitimately ruined their day with a couple words which he wasn't even wrong about.

It's why I embrace the hate some here have for me. It's funny
