The LSU contingent would strongly disagree that this is down to an Alabama/Auburn battle. I personally don't believe it.

I think we get through the regular season and then Saban will focus on who will end up in this class. Everyone he wants will sign in Dec and after that the remaining spots will be up for grabs to fill needs.

i agree with this, i have seen this kid play 3xs this year. they have had him in the backfield in the last game, but man, he is soft on the D line. high schoo(ravenwood) will prolly will the state this year, but they are loaded with other D1 talent

Kyle Edwards' 247 profile shows 104 carries for 2019. I've asked Hank if his stats are up-to-date, awaiting reply. ETA: Hank said the stats are not current but should be updated pretty soon.

Yeah, seems like he's had quite a few games with mega workloads like that. I think there was one where he had like 3 touches though, so maybe it balances out in the end lol.

They plan to be a package deal, and the Gators are taking a solid look at both.
The Gators also have a connection to the Pouncey family on their staff in assistant Director of Player Personnel Keiwan Ratliff, who was Pouncey's 7on7 coach before joining UF's recruiting staff. "Coach Rat has been like a family friend for a while so I know he will look out for me there. It helps a lot having him there. For me, it's all about being comfortable and the people there. Coach Rat will be there for me so it's easier to relax."
While a timeline for this recruitment hasn't become totally clear at this time, a frontrunner has. Based on the latest intel we have received, we are opting to place a prediction to Florida for the the Top100 defender on the 247Sports Crystal Ball. 247Sports currently ranks Pouncey as the Nation's No. 88 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting class and the No. 6 cornerback in the 2020 class.
