Gotcha. I think Gilbert is being smart by waiting & watching long enough for UGA, UT and UA to prove what they're pitching to him. All three have new OCs. And UT probably has to show major imrovement overall too. Most recruiters pitch to kids what they want to hear to some extent. Some a lot more than others. So, I don't see it as arrogance, but rather as being smart.

We love it in Prattville, been here nine years after retiring from active duty and have a nice job at Gunter. Also love not having a single traffic light the 90 miles between here and Tuscaloosa on Hwy 82. Thank you for your continued service.

I thought it couldn't get anymore tedious with the Sanders/Dean/Webb recruiting battles with UGA but the Evans/Gilbert/Washington recruitments looks like they could be just as mind numbing. Hopefully they don't go past the ESP.

Evans, Gilbert & Washington enrolling early.

Clay Webb? He's doing fine. He's running with the #2's and #3's right now at Guard mostly and some Center.
Dawgs have three 5-stars in backup positions right now (also Jamaree Salyer and Cade Mays who is in a battle w/ Ben Cleveland for RG).

It would be nice if it was four lane all the way.

Saint, I hope when it's all said and done, that you can move back to Alabama. I know there are bigger and better places, but Bama ain't a bad place to be.

Not that I am (or ever will be) over the game, but that’s the first time I’ve ever laughed at a post regarding that play

2020 defensive end, Reggie Grimes II, has adjusted his commitment date and will announce his decision on Nov. 28, which is Thanksgiving. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will be moving my commitment date back to Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, November 28th. God Bless???? @grimesreginald @RavenwoodFB @BuckFitz @V7Npa @CoachTBarr — Reggie Grimes II (@iamreggiegrimes)

And I'm from Mississippi.

Rivals Rankings Week: Is Latrell McCutchin close to 5th star?
quote:
The initial Rivals250 for the Class of 2021 has been unveiled. There were some fascinating debates in the war room during rankings meetings and one topic of conversation was four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin.
In today’s Rival Views, a pair of Rivals analysts break down where McCutchin deserves to be in the updated rankings. Texas and Louisiana Analyst Sam Spiegelman believes McCutchin is appropriately ranked inside the Rivals100 ahead of his junior season, while National Recruiting Director Mike Farrell believes McCutchin is on the verge of five-star territory.
SPIEGELMAN'S VIEW
After a breakout sophomore campaign, McCutchin debuted in the June Rivals100 at No. 73 in the country. He’s since slid up to the No. 60 spot and is a season away from entering the five-star discussion.
The athleticism McCutchin displays on film is very much real. He’s a long 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds with an impressive 36.6-inch vertical. He studies opposing quarterbacks and I love his tenacity to attack the ball. He’s instinctual and quickly diagnoses plays in the run and passing game. He doesn’t shy away from being physical and play both press and off-coverage. He has elite length and coverage skills and is essentially a lockdown corner already.
However, I’d love to see his production as a junior. Is he a fantastic cover corner or can he also create turnovers when balls are thrown his direction? The early Alabama commitment has all of the tools required to finish as a five-star and a big junior season could certainly push him over the top.
FARRELL'S VIEW
“I’m a big fan of McCutchin and his upside and he will be in the five star talk as he develops and grows over the next few years. He has length, he has speed and I love his instincts. He’s a very good athlete as well which allows him to recover when he makes a mistake and his work ethic is excellent. Watch for this kid by the end of the rankings cycle.”

Who’s No. 1 on The Southern 120? He’s a tight end and uncommitted
They must think he is going to Georgia or Tennessee. Josh Bean absolutely hates Alabama so there's no way he would rank a kid going to Alabama as the best player in the South.

That’s not saying much for her. She’s from Arkansas but the thing is they’re(Alabama and Arkansas) very similar.
