Now that we are pretty sure the Juniors who stays/goes thing is figured out (assuming Harris/Ruggs are gone), how would you rank the position groups?
Most Confident
1. OL
2. WR
3. MLB
4. CB
5. QB
Least Confident
1. P/K
2. FS/SS
3. OLB
4. DL
5. TE
Biggest concern by far is replacing both safeties. Battle is going to be very good and it sounds like the staff like Hellams, but 2 brand new guys back there is scary. OLB I think we have the bodies, my biggest concern is guys who can consistently set the edge.
DL I do think should be better and definitely deeper, but I'm not sure who the gamechangers are up there right now.

I actually think the DL will be fine next year and moving forward . Gained a lot of experience , full year in S&C ..... I like their potential plus the new guys

I think we are good everywhere but OLB/DE. We gotta find a way to get pressure
If Boz is telling the truth about Ansley then I am less concerned because he can scheme up pressure. If Golding is still DC........VERY CONCERNED

I feel very good about the depth of solid bodies. I'm a little concerned about the lack of dynamic guys in the rotation. But, just having a bunch of bodies who can play and play consistently is a big step up.

Safety and OLB are the 2 top areas of concern, IMO. Outside of Chris Allen, we don't have many OLB who have gotten playing time, and Allen has battled multiple injuries in his 3 years here.

Most confident:
OL
MLB
CB
WR
QB
Least confident:
OLB
D-Coordinator
I think this oline has potential to be even better than this season. With 4 out of 5 returning, the pieces are in place.
Moses/Harris combo will be down right scary IF Moses is back to 100%.
Surtain/Jobe/Carter/Williams/JAD... The talent is there. This will be Surtain’s money year, has all the tools to be a high draft pick. Banks might actually be a sleeper too.
Mac or Bryce! Whoever it is will have playmakers surrounding them, I’m confident in either one.
OLB we have pieces, just have to be developed
DC- Will it be Golding? Will we bring back Ansley? This is really my only concern, some may mention safety but I think with Hellams/Battle, those two can be very exciting.

Think Safety and OLB are similar in hopes that experience around them will make their jobs as new starters easier.
Safety IMO has a little more talent/experience split with Battle and Wright. I know Allen comes back at OLB, but he's still mostly potential and coming off injury.
Honestly could see a true freshman popping up at either spot...

only having to replace 1 safety actually and the star position...OLB is our Biggest concern.
K - assuming Reichard is healthy, we will be well above avergae here. Reichard is the real deal. Punter - TBD.

I always pick 1or2 guys from each class that after looking at their film, I think can be stars for us. Picked Dalcourt, 2years ago , Kennedy this year but I really like/liked EBOIGBE. Think he can be special if he doesn’t get too big

I am confident in having an elite OL and I can only hope that the DL improves over what I saw this season.

Honestly, I’m most concerned about QB. Mack has looked good in limited action but the offense is going to have to be retooled to fit his strengths and run the ball more if Trey Sanders and the rest of the incoming and returning backs are as good as they are supposed to be. So does that limit the offense and our quick strike ability? Probably so. Does that help out the defense? Only if they can get off the field/ we replace Golding.
In a nutshell, I’m not so much concerned about who is playing QB as much as I am how it will affect the offensive style of play.

I guess we are assuming the rb position will be fine. Sanders to take over Rb1 and Robinson will be Rb2?.

I feel pretty solid about the Sanders/B. Rob/K. Rob plus whichever freshman pushes their way in backfield.
I think Sanders is going to be an absolute stud.

Better hope a couple of these freshmen can contribute at OLB

I’m very optimistic about Reichard and Perine. But until we see it on the field, during games....

Any position on defense is a big concern. Other than #32 we don't have a stud with #58 being the next with real potential. Add in the coaching issues and the defensive side of the ball looks average. We need a couple of these new players to take some spots much like 2008.

Baremore, Lee, and Harris all freshmen SEC. That's a good start for the future. Battle could have been there if we had a need. Bout the only position we didn't on D. The 2019 class was a goodie and a number of studs in that class will continue to get their chance for big minutes this spring, especially on the DL.
Were not missing on players. We just need to get lined up and play with Bama fundamentals again.
