It's pretty much a certainty that Arizona is gonna get hit hard.

We need to snag a couple of big fish with the huge net Oats has cast. Couple of five stars and Oats era will truly get a flying start.

Not really. Pearl was not implicated in what Person did at Auburn. Mark Gottfried was in full Will Wade mode at NC State.

Auburn will probably have to vacate some of the very few wins they got that season and might lose a scholarship or two but you will be disappointed if you think they are going to make Bama’s life easier by taking Pearl out of the picture.

Marjon Beauchamp is one of several players who impressed at #AdidasGauntlet on Thursday. @ebosshoops, @CoreyEvans_10 share their thoughts from courtside

quote:

The college coaches couldn't come out to the The Finale of the Adidas Gauntlet like in years past, but that didn't stop big-time talent like shooting guard Marjon Beauchamp from showing up and showing out.

Rivals.com national analysts Eric Bossi and Corey Evans break down the day's top performers, recruiting news and breakout players.

quote:

Bossi's view: If you look at Marjon Beauchamp's ranking history with us, he's been hanging between No. 16 and no. 27 nationally for a few years now and has been back and forth between four and five-star status. The reason, he's showed lots of offensive ability to go with positional size, but has been inconsistent.

Coming off a big-time NBPA Top 100 Camp, Beauchamp was again outstanding on Thursday. He banged home long jumpers, scored in transition and also showed the ability to be a big-time defender with his length and quickness. Is he a good college player, a potential pro or somewhere in between?

They are all possibilities. He's off to a new prep school in Arizona (Dream City Christian) for his senior year and mentioned Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State as four that stood out as schools he's looking to visit.

How much of a role do you guys think James Rojas will play this year? Looks just like Hines.

Wish we could get more videos of the guys practicing like Herb.

I think betting the farm that Rojas will be our answer in the middle is fraught with danger. Maybe he is, and the fact that he’s coming from Juco and one of the top programs at that level in the country is encouraging. But there still will be growing pains and some guys just never transition well to high D1. Some do. It’s a 50/50 proposition. Latrell Sprewell was a gem out of Juco. But we’ve had our share of busts too.

I say big role. Why sign a JUCO unless you expect him to play major minutes?

He isn't gonna be playing in the middle, he is gonna be a 4 according to Oats.

I think he plays a lot, probably starts at the 4 and plays 20+ or so minutes a game.

He’s probably going to Sparty. Quite a few CB’s already for Izzo and Mich. St.
