People made the same sarcastic comments about Auburn last year when we played a bunch of FR/younger players
I don't know if Auburn looks for real, but we have an organized coherent offense and play team D. Something that never happened last season
The only thing that changed is that players had a full season of growing pains, off-season practices and time to adjust to new roles/competition

To add to that, South Carolina took 3-4 years to build a system and culture despite top 50 guys like Thornwell 5* Dozier

Auburn and South Carolina also had proven college basketball coaches. Young guys getting older is great if they are growing and learning and getting better.
Donta has, everyone else (Ingram, Norris, Key TBD) have not.
Either way, this team having growing pains is understandable. This team stinks, and outside of Hall the upperclassmen have been total no shows.
