That's fine, but I find it funny that he says NOBODY could possibly be better when he's literally not a #1 rated player anywhere.

Nkemdiche's game film is no where near as impressive as Foster's. His "potential" is the reason that he is ranked the number one player in the country. Don't get me wrong, Nkemdiche is a great player, Foster is just better IMO.

FWIW I agree about Foster being #1. Nkemdiche never impressed me. The kid can play but his film isn't really wow'ing like Clowney's. Foster's looks way better.

Also I can understand not wanting to do every event but the lack of drive to do any of the National Circuit should tell you something abou Nkemdiche's work ethic and self confidence.

I wouldn't go that far. Michael Carvell tweeted a few days ago that Nkemdiche's coach (Conn, I assume) won't let him compete at camps because he was injured in one last summer.

I don't think confidence is an issue with RN But I do think it says more about a top player when they are going to as many events possible just to compete with the best out there (like Foster and Lawson when he's not bitch slapping Suh and making him eat shitty pizza he spit on while he fricks his gf)

Nkemdiche did miss all of spring practice after a hip injury that he received in the NIKE camp. (allegedly)

Also Conn only played RN a half every game during the regular season. Supposedly to keep him ready for the playoffs. Atleast according to an article last Nov.

Geeze, pop the tit out of his mouth and leave him in already. He's going to be winded after 3 or 4 series in college.

The best experience for Alabama quarterback pledge Cooper Bateman (Murray, Utah/Cottonwood), though, was simple and straightforward.

Bateman toured LSU, Auburn, Alabama and Florida during a busy spring trip.

"In no way did Alabama try to lay out the red carpet, which was great," Bateman said. "Other schools did. I'm not going to single anybody out, but some places had girls with me the whole time. I don't really see how that's going to persuade someone.

"Some of the things they said, promises they made, it's far out there."

Top-rated receiver Ricky Seals-Jones (Sealy, Texas/Sealy) committed to Texas in February, then decommitted in June. He's considering offers that include UT, Oregon, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and LSU.

Seals-Jones does not count Alabama among his favorites, but a phone conversation with Saban ranks near the top of his most memorable encounters

"He told me, 'If you want to come to Alabama, you can. If not, so be it,' " Seals-Jones said. "I was like, 'Whoa, I wasn't really expecting that one.' It shows me that he doesn't beat around the bush."

frick Michael Carvell. He's a dumbass that knows nothing about recruiting and anyone who has a sub to a pay site automatically knows more than him. He sucks all over nkemdiche's dick and does nothing but make bold predictions to get his name out there if one of them actually happens. God I hate that guy, he called Foster to Auburn and then was like you heard it here first with a smirk arse smile then the news anchor was like and that's premium info from our very own Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal Constitution expert on college football recruiting. frick him.

He is the worst. Everytime an in state kid doesn't go to UGA he makes some sort of smart-arse comment. If he wrote a story about Greg Reid getting arrested the title would read "One Time UGA lean and current FSU DB arrested"

you here this over and over from recruits, saban doesn't promise playing time, alabama does not bullshite the players, etc... i think this is why we often whiff on the very, very top players, because they all are so used to everybody pandering to them and promising the world, but i think Saban's approach is exactly correct to draw the kind of players that make a good team. We get our share of elite recruits, but more importantly we get good character guys who like to work, who buy into the system, and who are team players. i think there is alot of peer pressure on the bama squad to stay in line, do the right things, and know that good things will come. I also think this is probably the major reason for the discrepancy in on the field results between bama and, say, Georgia, who has comparable talent levels.
