I can't believe they dropped Reuben Foster to #7, and Carl Lawson to #24...

Wow.

15 is still a bit low IMO. OJ is a top 10 talent.

Seriously....how many guys that size run that fast and have those kind of hands?

Only one comes to mind, and he plays for the Detroit Lions.

I also agree with TT on Foster. Dude went to camps injured, competed, dominated, and was punished in the rankings while others stayed at home and passed him. Seriously, when did Adams prove that he was better than Foster this summer? He didn't do jack shite.

Did the almighty 247 show today that it is, in fact, fallible?

Exactly. There's only one reason that I can think of as to why they dropped him, and that's if he's injury prone. I definitely don't think that's the case, and I'd love to see a reason to justify why he did drop 6 places after competing while others did nothing and got a bmup in the rankings.

Agreed.

I'd also love to hear why they dropped Carl Lawson after raping everyone at the Rivals Challenge.

They dropped Reuben cause of his "ceiling"

Meanwhile,Kelvin Taylor who had a lower Sparq rating than Cooper Bateman is still ahead of guys like Tenpenny,Green,Jones,ect.. Makes no sense

IMO, you can't measure a guy's ceiling that plays defense for BVG/Saban. They're some of the best defensive minds in college football. Besides, I don't see how they would justify his ceiling not being as high as originally thought of, when he's been injured while trying his best to compete with the best. shite, most of the others (Monty Adams and Robert Nkemdiche) have been sitting at home doing nothing, so why do they deserve a bump or to still be #1?

They want the best prospects to come to camp and compete, yet they just made a statement that staying home and doing nothing is better for your ranking. I don't get it.

who dropped RF out of the top 10? Rivals still has him at #2. Putting my Crimson Kool-Aid aside, I really think RF should be #1 but its whatever...

247Sports

He's not even the top ranked LB anymore. (lol) When the pads go on, NOBODY in the country is better than Reuben Foster, NOBODY. Period.

What's so funny? A couple weeks ago some of your brethren were arguing that Carl Lawson should be ranked #1 in the country

Its true Reuben is a monster. Looks like 247 dropped him to #7. Meh...dont really care because we're gonna look back and say that Foster was one of the best to ever wear Crimson.

Aside from all the bitching about RF falling (which I'm sure will be fixed once the season starts)...

Has anyone realized that if we pick up Matthew Thomas and Derrick Henry we'll have five 5*???

Tenpenny and Walker are close to being 5*s as well

That's fine, but I find it funny that he says NOBODY could possibly be better when he's literally not a #1 rated player anywhere.

Again, it's not that crazy since he is rated #2 in the country by Scout, Rivals, & ESPN. So most of the analysts believe that he better than every other prospect in the country except for one

Lawson nor Foster should have dropped.

They'll be back after the season re-rankings .
