I understand that. But at the same time, I think a lot of that could change if we could just get him on campus for a visit.

I could make that broad prediction about any player because if they sign elsewhere, you're never wrong when saying "we had a chance."

True, but nothing is really set in stone, until NSD, but taking that approach somewhat takes the fun out of following recruiting. The fact that the kid (Adams) OV'd last month and is continuing to give our staff an audience would be a bit more than saying there's "a chance." It's clear that there is mutual interest.
Now we could also say that we had "a chance" with Big Rob, but its also pretty clear that that ship sailed a loooong time ago...

It shows that he's willing to listen. I choose to not allow it to get me excited because I've followed recruiting to know that NSD is crazy, but usually there aren't many surprises of the five star variety.
