Averitt, Smith, and Bell will be very good DBs for us moving forward. Couple them with a stellar 2014 class and we are set at DB for a few years.

Really need to hit LBers and OTs next year though.

A couple of observations from today:
-Brown and Hill are noticeably bigger than any of the linemen aside from Cyrus
-During the parade, Fowler was riding in the back of a vehicle with his leg propped up which I found surprising since he was walking around fine at the SECCG
-Looked like Cooper Bateman was wearing #15. We have a shite load of QBs now
-Saw Averett walking around with what I assume was his family after the ceremony. Every one of them was decked out in Bama gear head to toe so I'm thinking he's pretty solid.
-Saw pretty much all the recruits up close when they walked right by me on the way to their seats for the ceremony. Paige is a big MFer. Seemed bigger than Adams even though Adams is supposed to be bigger.
-Kamara and Bell were sitting together with a couple other people at the bball game. Every time I glanced over there, AK looked like he was on the verge of falling asleep. Of course they left at halftime and missed the exciting half.
-Walker Jones was sitting with his brothers at the bball game
-Did not see CNS sitting with recruits. May be sitting in different area than he has the past couple seasons though
So, nothing really interesting but I figured it's better than nothing for those that have been starved for any info about recruits

Any news on reuben foster ?
Posted on 1/20/13 at 10:12 am to rolltide52
Speaking of foster, a friend of mine told me that he saw foster while attending a football camp in auburn and that foster has a Bama tat in addition to his auburn tat.
Anyone here know if this is true?

Rivals: Previewing the final rankings
1. Name a player who fared surprisingly well during all-star season to earn a bump in the rankings
3. Coming out of the final rankings meetings, which player from your region do you still feel deserved a bigger bump?
1. Name a player who fared surprisingly well during all-star season to earn a bump in the rankings
quote:
Woody Wommack, Southeast: Vonn Bell is a guy who impressed on film during his senior season and backed it up while at Under Armour earlier this month. He's a tremendous playmaker at the safety position and more than held his own against the top talent in the country. There's a reason the best college programs in the land are after him, and he's going to be a great late addition for someone down the stretch.
3. Coming out of the final rankings meetings, which player from your region do you still feel deserved a bigger bump?
quote:
Kynon Codrington, Southeast: This is a tough one. Although he made a nice jump, I think Alvin Kamara put himself in the discussion for the top running back in the country. Kamara may not have the size that Derrick Green or Kelvin Taylor possess, but he is faster with better burst and more of a big-play threat in the passing game. He can be a home run threat in the kick return game. It's that versatility that makes him the most complete back in this class in my opinion.

I'm telling you guys...when Foster said he will be going to school 3 hours from home he meant Washington. He boards the plane at 3pm. He lands at 6pm. It's a 6 hour flight but the time change made him think it was only 3.

Washington has him convinced it is not a plane, but a time machine.
