I didn't see any at the bball game today. Usually I see them sitting one at a time with CNS around this time of year.

Saban knows that our Bball team and attendance is a shite show. It'd be like taking them to eat at Taco Casa.

If kids aren't smart enough to figure out what was/is going to happen with Miami before then I doubt this will help.

I imagine it would help us with Thomas but there's a question as to whether we have room for him or not in the class. Stupid SEC signing limits.

There is zero chance they say no to Thomas. He honestly is the most athletic lb in this years class. Heck he could probably play the star position.

Nope. The allure of The U may fade, but the allure of living on the beach in South Florida for 4 years is never going to go away. Plus, a lot of kids just don't want to leave home.

I don't disagree with you on his ability, but some people who cover this for a living have said that he might not have a spot based on numbers. Those same people have been wrong before and may be wrong this time. We'll see.

If we keep a kid like McCleod at the expense of Thomas I will be very sad.

Isn't Thomas a huge FSU lean?

I don't get it either. It's not like we're exactly hurting at LB but someone like Thomas would be ideal for playing against these HUNH offenses the next few years.

I have seen people say that HE is a Bama lean, but his mother wants him at Miami. FSU may end up being the compromise.

Anyone know if his mom came with him on his OV? That would be a good thing for us.

Yeah, I think alot of that was because most thought (and still think) he wouldnt sign north of Tallahassee. One thing is for sure, the kid has never wavered in terms of his love for Alabama. If he doesn't end up in this class it won't be because we wouldnt take him and it won't be because he doesnt want to play for Smart/Saban...

It will be the local pull of Miami (close to his Mom) or the distance from home compromise of FSU.

Thomas is a take regardless, and he wants Bama badly. Mom is the only thing standing in the way.
