This was posted on 24/7 about D. Walker and FSU. Completely understand.
Part of me wonders if Saban knew that this was going to be an issue and instead of having DW go to UF (his other favorite) Saban may have actually encouraged Walker to go to FSU instead. Hmmmm.

Really need to land Hand or Carter next year, probably the best chance to land a top DE in the last few years.

Not Directly Bama related, but Kylie Fitts (2013 DE out of Cali) was set to EE at USCw but Lane and co apparently gave away his Jan spot and asked him to wait until the Summer to enroll.
The kid decommitted and is looking around saying he cannot trust their staff. I doubt we get involved this late but surely the shenanigans (and poor on field performance) have to really be playing a part in making these really look further East. I am hoping this indirectly helps Vanderdoes go ahead and eliminate SoCal outright.

Depends on the push for him on the visit and if Burton Burns sticks around. He's the tie to Louisiana, so if he bolts for FSU, it's a big plus for FSU(they are getting an official already). Miami should be the favorite as this point, but if Bama puts the press on him because they really want him, it will be interesting.
A lot of promising things have came out, like the fact he carries a 3.0 GPA and scored a 20 on his ACT and tweeted he couldn't wait to play the rush OLB position and no more DE.

I think Pagan is our best DL next year. He really came on at the end of this year.

I agree but I think Fanning has the most upside. Dude can be monster if he puts it together.
