Using an athletic fullback like an h back is pretty common out west. It seems like a good idea just not our bread and butter.

I don't know where that came from, but it may be a reference to fowler and lacy lining up in a split backfield that was made earlier.

Saban likes to get his best 11 on the field, so I wouldn't be surprised if that meant Fowler as a jack of all trades>calloway or anyone else at H-back. Fowler is certainly one of the more versatile guys on offense, and while he had some drops last year I know the kid can catch because I saw him do it at vigor.

Fowler has the size and ability to play RB/FB/HB

Nuss is a west coast guy. At practice we showed a two back look. I am saying it is reasonable to believe JF may play some fb.

Exactly, and 4A in Florida > 6A in most states.

Henry against Georgia 2A Powerhouse Buford in 2011 and it wasn't pretty for Henry or Yulee as Buford won 49-7.

Henry rushed for 116 yards on 17 carries. However, 76 of those yards came against the back-ups with less than 1:00 left in the game on a long TD run. Prior to that run Henry had 40 yards on 16 carries .

but buford isnt an ordinary hs. they get the cream of the crop when it comes to players. so i wouldnt read a whole lot into those stats.

True but watching the game I just wasn't that impressed with Henry's running. For a back that big in high school you would expect him to have to be ganged tackled but he was taken down by one tackler just about every play. And while he has excellent top end speed, he doesn't appear to me to have the quick feet that great backs tend to have. He's excellent at bouncing it outside and outrunning everyone, but not very good at running up the middle or using his size to get the tough yards IMO.
