I think we will get clapped by LSU, and I don’t think the Missouri game outcome, or anything else that happens between now and then will make a difference.

LSU is playing good football. We need to get good at it this week but I’m not expecting it, just hoping. A 10 player injured Missouri team could get us some confidence but I think it’ll be fool’s gold headed to LSU. The worse thing could be, beat Missouri by 20 and get cocky during a bye week.

Until NILroe can start reading defenses and stop letting wide-open receivers go unthrown to, every game we play is a potential loss. Then take our defense which has young inexperienced CB's and safeties, with our injuries and you've got a recipe for three to four more losses. This season could get ugly fast.

That's not so bad. Have Friday upvote.

Yes. This is accurate. Let's not pretend he sucks against everyone. In the 3 non conference games he's got 8 passing TDs, no INTs, a QB rating of 213 and averages 11.3 yards per pass at a 67% clip. That's good.
Not to mention the best QB performance against Georgia since Bryce put on Superman’s cape in 2021 (maybe Stroud but they didn’t win)
I think the idea that the staff did EVERYTHING for Milroe early in the year and that we’ve been figured out has some legs. If Milroe knows exactly where the ball is going and that player gets open, he’s quite accurate. If he has to go to his next reads…not so much

Boz, are you hearing that Simpson may get some snaps? Because if I were a betting man, I don't think Simpson will see the field. I really don't think Deboer has the guts to do that.

Once Georgia adjusted to the outside keepers, he did very little with his legs in that game. Notice how defenses have played against him since.
And the two spectacular plays by RW in that game were basically 50/50 balls that he made great adjustments to. Very few players would have made those catches.

Show me a qb that’s never been bailed out by an elite receiver, and I’ll show you a QB that has never had an elite receiver

Where did I say that others have "never" been bailed out like that? I'm simply pointing out those two specific plays that tipped the scale. Without the last one Bama almost certainly loses that game and the narrative totally changes. Look, everyone KNOWS that #4's strength is throwing the deep ball and I won't try to devalue that. But other than his size and speed, please tell us what his other strengths are on a football field?

I think he had a great game regardless

I can say Milroe is not the guy without pretending like he’s never had a good game.

I’m pretty certain that’s it. I think the first few games was vanilla offense that they relied on raw talent to win because those teams didn’t have the personal to really counter Bama for a whole game.
They confused the frick out of UGA in the first half with new looks and play calls. But UGA adjusted and every team since has as well and neither Milroe nor the coaching know how to respond to that. Leads to bad plays which leads to worse confidence which leads to more bad plays…and here we are

I don't think this is entirely accurate. The all-22 has shown that we've had plenty of opportunities to be successful since then, but lack of execution (including but not limited to bad reads, bad throws, missed tackles, penalties, etc.) is a significant contributing factor to our recent failures.

I should’ve worded that differently. I was trying to say they don’t know how to help him adjust either

I think they do, I just don't think he gets it
Tommy Rees showed us that your best angle is just taking it out of his own hands and dumbing it down as much as possible

That’s what I’m getting at. They don’t know how to help him anymore than they already have because of his limitations

People who can't recognize bad QB play are the worst.
