Honestly the clemson game part 2 surprised me. The game started with ND doing whatever they wanted up front. Their o-line is really good. But after the 4th down play they kind of fell apart

Bama 42
ND 14

Nobody here will get this reference but... Are you saying the scores form a Martingale?

Glad someone got it :)

I mean I'm sure I'm not the only one who got your score reference. I meant the term "martingale" would not be understood/appreciated.

Me too. They kind of got snowballed on.

Their issue is the same as A&M. When you aren't explosive on offense you have to be perfect on your drives to stay ahead of the chains and you really can't get very far behind. They stopped staying ahead and all of sudden they were throwing every down and Book was running out of the pocket after 2 seconds.

Just say this... I got most of my class thru Stats in college (well, all of the football players in the class, and a few frat bros... but I refuse to mention names, there may still be a statute of limitations in play here...Martingale with yo badselves...

I really think that the subs that Bama made on the front 7 during the 4th qtr crunch time will pay benefits... 1, 20, 50, getting quality snaps at the end of the game (WITH the game on the line) should pay dividends in the upcoming games.

i fully expect nd d t0 play bama much the same as arkansas and florida. do everything possible to limit the long explosive pass plays by keeping everything in front of them. i think they know, like most do, if bama puts up 21 points in the first qtr, it's over for the irish.
