However, there was an interesting development with the quarterbacks. Jake Coker rotated between first and second in line with Blake Sims. Coker started out at the back of the line and had to work his way past the young guys. The Florida State transfer now appears to be in the thick of of the quarterback competition.

I might be in the minority, but I like the move of Ryan Anderson to ILB. Provides good depth, especially with the way Foster tackles. A good 4 man rotation could pay off this year and keep our guys fresh against fast paced teams.

I dont think you would be. Not sure Anderson would ever see the field at OLB.

I really like this as well. Ryan Anderson was a guy I was really excited about when we signed him. I'm not sure why he hasn't made a bigger impact so far.

One of the most impressive aspects of Alabama's open practice yesterday was the play of the Crimson Tide's cornerbacks. Cyrus Jones, Bradley Sylve and Tony Brown recorded interceptions during the team's 7-on-7 drills, and the position group looked to have improved from a season ago.

This was one of my big takeaways from fan day. The thought of him playing corner again for us scared me to death, but he looked so much better out there than I ever would have believed.

Marlon Humphrey:

Cam Sims:

Maurice Smith and Tony Brown (who is a lot bigger than I expected):

Derek Kief (he probably caught this considering he had a few amazing catches in the rain on fan day):

Kief did have a couple of the more wow-worthy catches on Saturday. He also dropped several easy ones in drills so I'm not sold on his hands yet. He stands out amongst the WRs as being the tallest and lankiest.

Apparently Chris Black has been dropping more of them than anyone.

he sure had some stone hands in the spring game. blake sims would have had about 100 more yards and a way better completion percentage, had numerous perfectly thrown balls dropped by black, and to a lesser extent cooper, whereas bateman was throwing darts to walkons who were holding on to the ball. now it looks like bateman is incapable of actually throwing a spiral in fall camp in all the videos.

I dont know what your intentions are because I dont know you....

You post like every opinion you have is the final word and whoever doesnt agree is a dumbass. This rubs people the wrong way and you come off very abrasive.

When there are ten guys on one side and one on the other .Whom do you think is usually the problem ?

Its like the woman thats been married six times. Each divorce there was something the husband did wrong to screw it up.Its always someone elses fault .After six lady you should probably be taking a long hard look at yourself.

Now you may not be coming off that way on purpose However you are and its rubbing people the wrong way. Im not trying to attack you but trying to help .So if youre not an a-hole quit posting like one .If you are carry on and itll work itself
out .

Its not just youre post that we have to ignore its the ten others telling you youre an a-hole.Its fricking up the feng shui.

So what Im saying is if you could please try to tone it down a little. For the betterment of the board .Thanks

Well I appreciate you being nice, number 1. Thats something new that no one feels like they can do except a couple others who just want to discuss football, not how they dont like my opinion. AllBamaDoesIsWin has tried to keep the peace and maybe 1 or 2 more, but you have to understand that I did not go out of my way to comment on anyone else's opinion first. I only voiced my own and whatever attacking post I got back, I dished it harder on them. Dont dish what you cant take. I wasnt doing any of the intial dishing. If you dont think what I am saying is the case, then go back to the very initial post where ABDIW asked me for my opinion on the starters and everyone immediately made condescending and unnecessary remarks. Also when someone rebuttals in a DEBATE, then it is an ongoing debate until someone doesnt reply or it fades out for whatever reason. I only called 1 person a douche because of a backhanded comment about my opinion. All these replies youre seeing me look like a jerk, is me defending myself from someone going out of their way to post towards me when I havent said 2 words to them.

Good article on Austin Sheppard

Guy only gave up 1 sack all year, starting 13 games, graded out the highest of all the linemen in the sugarbowl. grant hill might have a higher ceiling, but i dont see him taking over this year

Sounds like Leon Brown is back from injury and working with 1st team at RG

@UofARecruitniks: OL - From left to right - Robinson, ArieK, Kelly, Brown, Shepard. (Hill and Jackson first 2 off the bench)

ETA: this tweet was about projected depth chart not about today's practice. My mistake

@_DCReeves: A lot about physicality today in first full day of pads. DBs working on press, WRs working on not getting rerouted

good to see Brown back practicing. I dont have a good grasp on Brown's strengths and weaknesses but he's definitely got size and a little bit of experience.

I haven't seem his return mentioned by anyone else covering practice, so I'm not certain it's accurate just yet
