Are any of y’all doing that daily immaculate grid? I’m addicted to it.

I'm hearing the Braves are only 4 HR's away from having the most ever before the All Star Game.
They've also went deep 24 straight games.

But a 3.47 ERA is pretty good for an overall bullpen if that continues to hold up.

That may be the best in the NL but that may be an indictment on bullpens in general. I get that sounds like a good ERA but if you bring a guy in with men on 2nd and 3rd and he gives up a 2 run single those 2 runs do not affect his ERA. And when pitchers are a lot of times only facing three hitters your ERA can be great but the guy you replaced is suffering because you are giving up inherited runners. McHugh has been trash and I’m still not sold on Anderson. Minter has been bad a lot too but we know he can be good. And even Iglesias has struggled at times but I do like him.

I thought we tied the record of 166 hrs prior to All Star break with the 3 hrs against CLE and now have 3 games to break it. Either way, this offense is scary good right now. Just need Max/Kyle back and 1 more lockdown bullpen piece to have a legit shot.

Who knows what team will be hot in October, and I’m not a fan of the long delay for the top 2 teams. Almost guarantees you’ll be playing a hot team coming off a series win while you haven’t played meaningful baseball in a week or two (depending on how far in advance you clinch the division). The only benefits are setting up the rotation and not giving a weaker team a shot at an upset in the first round against you. Momentum coming off a series win and being in peak playoff form seems better than trying to stay ready for a week or more.

This team is really, really good. Hope AJ is ok and that we have a healthy pitcher staff in Postseason.

Crazy how good this team is and this is with 2 of your top starters (Fried and Wright) missing a ton of starts. Not to mention how many teams ever had a 9 hole hitter win Player of the Week like Harris did a few weeks ago? Just stupid good!

Every Braves hitter 1-9 is either good or great.
Pitcher's can't pitch around any certain player.
Elder, Morton, Strider have thus far been a formidable top 3 in the rotation.
The 4 or 5 starter usually gets lots of run support.

I hate the head to head elimination for the HR derby. Should be top 4 advances. Rutschman hit more than Randy and Vlad Jr. Just a stupid format.

Either vividseats, seatgeek, stubhub online will work for you.
Probably only $15-$20 on a low end ticket.
And not a bad seat anywhere in Truist.

A grand slam in the first inning is a nice way to start a game.

Braves punish pitchers, pound the baseball.
Particularly in the 1st inning.

This team is hardcore. 27 straight games with HR. Believe All-time record is 31 by the 2019 Yankees.

I’m not sure AA can do much at the deadline at this point. I want a top reliever but no one deserves to be sent down at this point, not to mention Chavez and Lee still to return and possibly Max and Kyle (which means Allard, Soroka, AJ Smith-Shawver, or even Shuster are all bullpen options down the stretch). Crazy riches at this point

We're just stupid good. God it's going to suck if we don't make it to the WS. It'd be like 1998 all over again, which I have been reminded of all summer because of that stupid racist redneck's dumb song.

Pitching meltdowns, injuries finally catching up, Elder regressing to his actual talent level, etc. really need Max and some bullpen arms back…ASAP

I cursed us by saying we're good. Pitching has been an absolute disaster coming out of the break.

Diamondbacks have some promise, but I prefer our opponents to be annihilated.

We're too good to be having semi-constant bad pitching streaks.

I couldn't believe what I heard on the broadcast today. The Braves haven't lost 5 in a row since 2017?
That's incredible.

Everyone in the bullpen should be DFA'd. Yates and Luetge first. Matzek and Minter can stay. Iglesias is really passing me off, but since there's no one else, he can stay. But Yates should only pitch if the Braves are up or down by 5+ runs.

Back on track after today though. Milwaukee has won 6/7 after the break. Should be a competitive series. Hopefully Soroka can get back on track tomorrow.
