Well, the rules haven't been the same for 9 years, so I quit reading what he had to say after that point.

Targeting is simply the worst rule in the sport. Football, like society, is becoming softer and softer. Disqualification for nonegregious, or intentional plays is asinine.

See I thought what Kiffin said was funny. Pretty sure he meant it as humor. Ol Terry, he needs to put it in reverse. Back it up Terry

McAulay just comes across as an a-hole. "You better not criticize a referee or we won't change the rules just to show you!" I have never seen a former referee EVER say another referee was wrong and these guys mess up calls all the time. McAulay is nothing but a schill.

You know he's being serious when he uses 'all' three times in a sentence.

it's actually very simple: See what you tackle and there will be no targeting. Not too long ago, the Tulane defender got paralyzed. The Rutgers guy too. And the Southern guy also. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!

The unsimple part is every single running back lowers their head on contact and doesn't "see" who is tackling them. Every RB in America would be ejected on the first inside run if they called this consistently. That is the problem, they don't.
