Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter made some waves this weekend saying himself playing both ways is more difficult than Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani pitching and hitting. Thoughts?

Skillwise, I have no idea which pair would be difficult. They’re both amazing feats.

In terms of conditioning and punishment to your body? Hunter is just right there

WR/CB's take minimal contact. It is undeniably harder to hit and pitch at the level Otani does. College players dont even pitch/hit. There are lots of guys in the NFL that could play both sides of the ball. Hunter should probably only speak to what he knows.

Even if it’s minimal by NFL standards it’s still way more punishment than any MLB player is ever gonna take. The sports don’t even compare in those two regards.

Would've been a little more palatable if he wouldn't have used Ohtani as the example

Seems like the supply/demand curve says that there a whole lot less guys who can do what Ohtani does as well as he does it. If it was easier to do what Ohtani does, you would think more MLB players would do it and get that $700 million dollar contract.

Dude is an average to slightly above average WR/CB and compares himself to a guy who would is a top 20 pitcher and probably the best hitter in the game. Who when healthy does both of these things at an elite level for 120+ games a year.

The Prime Time propaganda has gotten to his head.

Travis needs to get some NFL experience before he starts tooting his horn. He, along with his QB brother.

Seems to be a good kid just needs to humble himself and keep his head down as a soon-to-be rookie.
