The Browns are a joke, and Johnny was their best QB in years. He may not be taking the high road here, but they didn't exactly take the high road with him either, and they hired a bafoon for a HC who had no idea how to use him.

"but they didn't exactly take the high road with him either..." Explain this. Yes, the Browns are a joke, but they've been a joke a long time regardless of JFF. They paid him well, they put up w/ his crap, they gave him an opportunity to play early (probably before he was really ready, but I'm sure he wanted to play instead of "developing" on the bench) and I don't remember them dogging him the way they could have. Yes, they did try to change his game into an "NFL" QB, but his style of play in college would've never succeeded in the NFL.
