Without giving away too much information, I met Jameis in a capacity in which I met a bunch of other thigh level college and pro athletes, and he was genuinely the nicest one of all of them. Surprised the gel out of me. Been rooting for him ever since.

Does seem like he is a good hearted person who made some dumb mistakes as a young man. I'm pulling for him too. I enjoy redemption stories and he could be one of them and hopefully it's with the Saints. So far, he has done everything the organization has asked now we need to keep him healthy.

Imagine how good he would have been if he had played for coaches that held him accountable until the last couple of years. The skill and talent are there, just had been missing the disipline.

Jameis is a terrific human being. My little nephew had cancer and Jameis visited him several times. It meant the world to us.
