So tired of this shite. fricking run, tackle, throw, and catch a ball. Quit with the bull shite politics you frick heads. These athletes are about as bad as celebrities. Yeh, I'm mad.

I don't really understand this attitude. These athletes have a cause that they are behind, and the platform to have their cause heard. Just because you and I don't agree with the cause doesn't mean they need to keep quiet. If it were something that I liked, I'd be glad someone was making the point. If it bothers you, just stop watching.

Saints football is not worth watching this year anyway. Kneel. Stand. Squat. WGAF. Play football. No one cares about NFL players political views regardless.

People are risking life and limb to get into this country but for some it’s just not enough, so let’s disrespect those who gave their lives for the comforts we enjoy … save all the kneeling for church and stand up

Why not just come out and stand arm and arm, that is solidarity the kneeling is what people are feeling is disrespectful. People are getting tired of this feigned outrage.

Love you Drew, but you, your team, the nfl are making a mountain out of a mole hill. What you idiots are doing is ridiculous, protest by calling a town hall meeting and let it all hang out, just don't involve the national anthem. You millionaires are just spoiled brats. Sit who cares, stay seated the whole game.

SCREW ALL THIS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS! Many men have died to give these asshats the right to free speech. As consumers, we need to show solidarity and boycott watching any NFL products. USAF!!!

The pendulum of society has swung too far with the PC bs, it will swing back to the middle soon and over-reach like this is the type of thing that wakes people up.

That's the funny thing. At this point I don't think there is a clear consensus. I don't think they even know. Somebody told them they are supposed to be mad about something.

Keep politics out of the NFL. End of story, perhaps end of the NFL.

Hope the Super Dome sinks along with all of the disrespectful, disgraceful, and classless New Orleans Saints inside of it!

Did you guys even read it? This is a compromise that shows the fans that the black players on the team are still acknowledging the grievances of the communities they represent, but without disrespecting the national anthem. What the frick more do you want? this is a far better solution than any team has performed since all this bullshite began. Instead we get a slew of responses, "nah man that's bullshite, all that matters is what I want, because I'm special and everything i believe is a fact". ok bud...

What is their grievance? Do you know? One I do know about is they bitch about the hood and violence in the hood but when a cop goes in and has to shoot one of these bad guys then they bitch about that. So the compromise might be allow the gangs to run there former hood and just be done with it. Seems to be what they are doing in Chicago.

The point is, there is no legit grievance. We just had a black president with a Muslim name. No one is oppressing them and holding them back.
