Division III Salisbury’s onside attempt caromed harmlessly for a touchback late in Ithaca’s victory tonight. That means the kick resulted a net of -10 yards, which isn’t great. Though, any time there’s a chance to recover an onside kick for a touchdown, you have to try it.

Should have purposely not kicked it 10 yards so team has option of 5 yard penalty or getting the ball from like the 3. Extra 5 yards would give them enough room to execute a better onside without being worried about the touchback
