According to West Virginia reporter Hoppy Kercheval via On3.com, former West Virginia head men's basketball coach Bob Huggins has had a sudden change of tune after stepping down from the program following a pair of very public controversies. He now claims he never resigned and is demanding he be reinstated or he will pursue legal action against the school...
quote:

"Coach Huggins never signed a resignation letter and never communicated a resignation to anyone at WVU. Accordingly, the WVU public comments are not only false, but appear to be an after-the-fact attempt to remedy WVU's breach of the employment," reads a letter from Huggins' attorneys.

They tried to give him another chance and he comes back and makes everything 10X worse. What an a-hole.

After his first slip-up, I don't think his contract leaves him with much ground to stand on. I was almost sure he didn't resign, but he may not have a choice. It will be interesting to see which way this ends up.

Embarrassing himself and the University - he should crawl away and try to work on himself

That dude…all about the money. If it was really about love of the game and coaching young men, there’s an interim coach position at McNeese that’s available.

I thought Wade filled that?? Serious question, I know he took a job somewhere in LA.

I said interim. Wade has to sit out the first 10 games.

Ummm... Bob, here's your drunken signature. You might not remember anything. But you stumbled in here with this ranting poorly written resignation letter on the same night as the DUI.
