LeBron James has a tough gig. He's the best player in the world, yet not everyone loves him. He's in the Finals, but he doesn't have the help he needs. He is criticized if he wins and if he loses. So when J.R. Smith made that timeout mistake the other night, I can understand LeBron's frustration. However, a leader leads and this video of him after that mistake is tough to watch as he shows his frustration in a cold way, as opposed to picking up his teammate. But also, he's realizing in this clip that the Cavs still had a timeout...

That's why the CAVS looked terrible in OT, they didn't prepare on the bench, they just sat there, they were still thinking they should have won that game...and to be honest the refs hijacked that game....that's a shame... the JR play was just adding a bit of sting to the open wound. The charging being overturned was the game....not to mention Lebron was hacked a few times with no call.. I know he whines but dang they have missed several calls this series

I’m a big LeBron hater even though I respect the hell out of his game. If you score 51 and night in and night out you hear the media criticize your team mates and you defend them religiously and then they blow a golden opportunity by missing a game winning FT and the J.R. blunder you have every right to react like LeBron does here. This is right after the refs overturned his charge. The dude is the ultimate competitor and this is frustration. In my opinion, nothing to criticize here.

Lebron says all of the right things in front of the camera, but it's these exact actions as to why his teammates don't like him. Kevin Love can't stand him. Kyrie could not get out of there fast enough. He want to be "King", coach, GM and yet his own players can't stand him. He's definitely not a leader.

But I bet you would love the leadership MJ or Kobe would’ve shown in this situation. Both would’ve been chewing JR out. Most of the greatest of all-time in any sport demand a lot out of their teammates and express frustration when guys aren’t meeting expectations. MJ, Kobe, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, etc. all well documented as very hard on teammates. LeBron is definitely a great leader and J.R. let him down.

These exact actions like realizing he's the only person with any situational awareness? He had 49 points in a finals game, JR Smith dribbled out the clock when they were tied and Ty Lue stood still like a dumbass with a timeout. That shite organization doesn't deserve him.

Tough to watch? J.R. Smith gets paid millions of dollars, sure there are leaders on the court, leaders on the team; but when someone doesn't take the time to understand what the situation they are playing in is, that has nothing to do with leadership, and Lebron should have KO'd him at that moment. Inexcusable for a professional, taking that money, to not understand what he needs to win.

First of all, all JR could have done was force up a shot, the only thing he could have done was give them a chance. it’s not the most monumental screwup I’ve ever seen like some are making it out to be. Second, the entire team shares the blame in not calling TO, plain and simple. Call a TO and you have plenty of time for the best player in the world to take a shot. The marching order should have been to call TO on a miss.

Force up a shot? Watch the damn clip, he catches it just outside of the restricted area, Durant was off balance and turned around, Durant was the only defender able to make a play though. There is no more free of a bucket in an NBA game than that was, period. Your thinking otherwise tells me u didnt even watch the play
